NB-6000 (acid activated bleaching earth) has proven to be the most appropriate
bleaching, decolourising and deodourisingagent for edible oils such as soyabean,
sunflower, sesame, groundnut and coconut oil.
The process
-------------------------
Why NB-6000?
Bleaching efficiency
High bleaching efficiency lowers bleaching costs. NB-6000 provides high
bleaching efficiency that increases surface area.
Fatty Acid Content
The presence of very low mineral acid content in NB-6000 reduces the likelihood
of increase in free fatty acid content during bleaching and deodourisation.
Significant Chlorophyll Reduction
Small amount of NB-6000 is adequate to reduce chlorophyll levels significantly.
Removes non-relevant minerals
The presence of trace minerals like Iron, Nickel, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorous,
Sodium and others in edible oils can result in problems such as reduced
frying fat life, excessive foaming and poor oxidative stability.
NB-6000 brings down the presence of these minerals to an acceptable minimum
with its special absorbing qualities.
Filterability
Optimum filterability requires particles of uniform size. NB-6000 has been
developed to filter high quantities of oil without chocking the filters. It
enables speedy process even under normal operational conditions.
Oil Retention
With care taken in respect of the particle size distribution and product density,
NB-6000 minimises oil retention; thus reducing processing cost.
NB-6000 does not contain
dioxin levels.
Application
NB-6000 is used to deodour, decolourise, stabilize and neutralize solvents,
minerals, fats and waxes.

NB-Bentonite (non activated)
NB-Bentonite is a
clay mineral used for the absorption of colour and removal of trace metals
like Iron, Nickel, Magnesium, etc., present in Vegetable oils. It provides
large surface area by virtue of its natural physical properties. Under normal
filter conditions, it achieves excellent filtration results in less time and
with minimum oil retention losses.
Due to usage of very selective raw materials, NB-Bentonite gives optimum results,
bothe in terms of quality and cost effectiveness.
